Join the Washington State Grape Society and the WSU Viticulture and Enology Program, as they host the 2014 Statewide Viticulture Field Day on August 15th!
This Field Day, which is open to all who are interested in viticulture, will cover topics ranging from sprayer calibration to canopy management. These talks will highlight the practical implications of current research being done at WSU-IAREC, and will also include handouts for participants to take home for reference. The information presented will have broad applicability to both juice and wine grape production.
Registration will begin at 8am located at the Roza Farm on N. Crosby Road, Prosser, WA (between W. Evans Rd. and W. Kuhlman Rd., look for tent). Cost of the Field Day is $10 for lunch and will be due at registration; no RSVP required. A catered lunch by Garcia’s Tex-Mex will be held in the WSU-IAREC picnic area. Field day sessions will continue until 2:30PM. Transportation between venues is not provided; carpooling is encouraged. The new “Field Guide for IPM in Vineyards” Spanish-English pocket book will also be free to all participants (limit 1 per person).
